Best Place to Stay in Abruzzo - Caramanico Terme

Things to Do in Caramanico Terme, Abruzzo and Nearby Areas

I loved this trip! It was a last-minute decision to get out of town for a week with the pups. We wanted a little break from the heat and the crowds coming for Vinalia (the week-long wine festival here in Guardia). Every day is a wine festival for me here so I was okay taking off.

By luck, I found a super cute cabin through Airbnb that was right on the edge of town. I could walk to the bar/cafe in the mornings, do a little work …. or not, come back for the dogs and go hiking and exploring. There was so much to do - yoga in the park, a helpful Visitor’s Center with daily activities listed, clean and quaint historic center, and people from all nationalities there to enjoy the healing waters and the beautiful Maiella Mountains. Plus, you’re only 40 minutes to the beaches in Pescara along the Adriatic Coast. This is a place I’ll go back to often. (Click through the gallery below)
